Stroke

Mixed media on paper.
It's a bit difficult for me to describe the process and which media is used where because I kind of just randomly use whatever is lying around me - which is:
Wax pastels, oil pastels, water-soluble pastels, colour pencils, regular pencil, acrylic paint, indian ink, different kinds of black markers, acrylic markers, coffee, my nails, eraser, soot from matches and two kinds of spray varnish.

I usually don't have a prior idea when I start a new work. I let my body and subconscious express whatever is necessary. 
When the work is finished I take a step back and analyze the work and sometimes figure out what it's about. However sometimes I have to get a second opinion from someone else before figuring out anything at all. 
This one sadly is inspired by some misfortunes in my nearest family where I have witnessed how fragmented a mind can get by strokes and brain damages :´(
I'm totally surprised by the Daily Deviation - didn't expect it at all and I'm very honored and happy! :-D
